INDIANAPOLIS -- One person is in the hospital following a shooting on the city's west side.
Police responded to a home in the 600 block of N. Exeter Ave. just before 10 a.m. Monday morning.
They say they found a young man who had been shot inside the home.
He was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition.
Detectives are interviewing witnesses and canvassing the area for additional information.
They believe this is an isolated incident and not a random shooting.
Detectives don't have any reliable suspect information to release at this time.
