INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis man who was shot and survived is looking back on 2015.
Zach Guyton has a scar, problems seeing out of his left eye and nasal issues, but he's alive.
Five months after a 56-year-old man allegedly shot him and his sister as they loaded their kids into a car on Indy's east side.
She was shot five times and he was shot once in the face.
They are two victims in a violent year that some night rather forget.

Indianapolis had 144 criminal homicides in 2015. According to IMPD, non-fatal shootings stand at 447 which is up from last year.

Reverend Charles Harrison of the Ten Point Coalition says 2016 will bring changes for them.
The group patrols violent neighborhoods and tends to homicide scenes.
Harrison says they will be scaling back the number of neighborhoods they patrol, but extending their hours into the early morning.
