INDIANAPOLIS—There is new information in the death of Larry Terry, an Indianapolis man whose remains were found in a suitcase on May 28.
The Marion County Coroner says Terry was strangled and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says Terry's death is now being investigated as a murder.
There have been no arrests.
The suitcase containing Terry's remains was found along Bean Creek by people who were fishing there.
The location is off Villa Avenue, near East Raymond Street and South Keystone Avenue on the city's southeast side.
Terry was 56 and lived in the 3000 block of English Avenue, a few miles from the suitcase discovery. Relatives reported him missing on March 12.
