FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Ind. -- Students and families at Acton Elementary School and Bunker Hill Elementary School are teaming up for a couple of fundraisers to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.
For a $1 donation, students can wear Texas-themed outfits on Tuesday, September 5. Their goal is to raise $1,000.
Then on Wednesday, September 6 and Thursday, September 7, fundraiser nights will be held at Texas Roadhouse, at 4335 Southport Crossings Drive, from 4 -10 p.m.
If the families show a flyer, the restaurant will donate 10 percent of total food purchases to the fundraiser for Houser Elementary in Conroe, Texas. This also is part of an ongoing Random Acts of Kindness project some of the kids have been working on
