SOUTHPORT, Ind. -- A fundraiser will be held on Sunday, September 10 for the family of fallen Southport police Lt. Aaron Allan.
Lt. Allan was shot last July while responding to an overturned vehicle on Marion County's south side.
He left behind a wife and two sons.
The fundraiser will be hosted by the Stacked Pickle in Southport, at 7040 McFarland Blvd., from 4 to 10 p.m. next Sunday.
There will be a raffle, free beer samplings and a live DJ.
Jason Brown is accused of shooting Lt. Allan eleven times. Brown is charged with murder in the officer's death.
