INDIANAPOLIS — The Marion County Traffic Safety Partnership announced that local law enforcement agencies will conduct DUI checkpoints on Saturday.
Starting at 6 p.m., Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, Indiana State Police, Speedway, Cumberland, Lawrence, Beech Grove, Airport and IUPUI PD plan to conduct the checkpoints throughout Marion County.
The "Driving Under the Influence Indiana" project is aimed at reducing alcohol-related automobile and motorcycle crashes.
