MARION COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marion County Sheriff's Office is trying to make it as easy as possible for you to be a safe and responsible gun owner.

The sheriff’s office dropped off a batch of free gun safety locks this past week at the College Avenue and Warren branches of the Indianapolis Public Library.

We checked (specifically, with the Warren library branch) – and you don’t have to pay a cent for the locks. Just head to the circulation desk at the library to ask for one.

You can also find them at the Riley Hospital For Children Safety Store.
