MARION, Ind. -- Marion police found themselves in a standoff Tuesday with a man suspected in an armed robbery of the Afena Credit Union.

Indiana State Police and officers from the Marion City Police Department were called to a home on the city's west side near Grove and 4th streets on reports of a suspect connected to the robbery.
The situation escalated into a SWAT standoff.
As of 5 p.m., no shots had been fired and no injuries were reported.
