COLUMBUS, Ind. -- A dollar bill covered in what turned out to be methamphetamine was left in a Columbus charity donation box this week.
The bill was found by staff members at Volunteers in Medicine. Staff called police after they noticed the bill was covered in an unidentified white substance.
A hazmat team was called to investigate the substance, which was determined to be methamphetamine.
It wasn't immediately clear who placed the meth-laced bill in the donation box.
