INDIANAPOLIS -- Happy Birthday, Mike Pence. The vice president and former Indiana governor turned 58 on Tuesday.

Air Force Two was decorated with balloons, streamers and party hats for the day as he traveled to Houston.

According to the Washington Post's Ashley Parker, the pool reporter for covering the vice president, Pence's deputy press director went through the cabin of reporters and passed out party hats. She then told them "You don't have to wear it."

When Pence boarded the plane and saw the balloons and celebration, he smiled, opened his arms and said, "What are you all doing? This is out of control."
