INDIANAPOLIS — A 15-month-old boy whose organs saved three other young lives got a hero's send-off Friday morning.
Zaedyn L. Owings died June 4 of respiratory arrest due to pneumonia. His parents made the decision to donate his organs and on Thursday Zaedyn's heart, liver and kidneys were transplanted to save three other lives.

The young hero got a proper send-off on Friday when his friends and family escorted him from the Indiana Donor Network to Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan on a motorcycle "Miracle Ride" with 23 riders and an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department motorcyle escort.
“Zaedyn was his mother’s best friend and his father’s ‘big guy,'" Zaedyn's parents stated. "He was the best baby brother and big brother anyone could ask for and yesterday, he became a superhero to three other families. We remember Zaedyn’s love for motorcycles, music and his family were as strong as he was. He was our family’s miracle and now he is a miracle for three other families as well.”
