MORGAN COUNTY -- A missing Morgan County inmate has been found.
The Morgan County Sheriff says a tip led authorities to a house on the north side of Martinsville Wednesday afternoon.
James R. Baker was taken into custody without incident.
Baker didn't return after his shiftat a work-release program Tuesday morning.
He is one of four inmates who work overnight at a Mooresville business. They got off work around 3 a.m. One of the inmates drove all four back to the facility to check back in, but Baker never did.
Baker was serving time for a probation violation, but has previous arrests for battery and residential entry.
