INDIANAPOLIS -- A missing service dog was returned Wednesday to an Indianapolis woman.
Heather Adams says her dog, Maura, is her best friend and helps Adams deal with routine seizures from her epilepsy.
Maura disappeared earlier in the week in the area of Washington and Arlington streets.
Adams says she heard a knock on the door very early Wednesday morning and when she opened it, she saw Maura.
The person who dropped the dog off was gone.
Heather says Maura is in good health.
