INDIANAPOLIS—Visitors to the Indianapolis Zoo enjoyed more than the animals and great weather, Saturday.
For one day, the zoo was transformed into one big art studio.
"Naturally Inspired Paint Out Day" was presented by The Great Frame Up Downtown.
Artists transformed blank canvases and hunks of clay into artwork of zoo animals and the White River Gardens.
Later, the art will be framed and auctioned off, with proceeds benefitting the zoo's animal conservation efforts.
