MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. -- At a school named for a basketball legend, students heard from the writer and producer of a legendary basketball movie.
Angela Pizzo spoke to Business and Career students at John Wooden Middle School in Martinsville on Thursday.
Wooden was the Morgan County native who won a record ten NCAA championships as UCLA’s coach.
Pizzo is best known for his work on the films “Hoosiers” and “Rudy.” He’s also no stranger to the area, having grown up in Bloomington and graduated from Indiana University.
Pizzo discussed screenwriting, producing and directing with the students.
