MORGAN COUNTY, Ind. -- Santa Claus is coming to town. Morgantown, that is.

The Indiana Rail Road’s Santa Train will chug into Morgantown Friday at 6:30 p.m.

Each year, the railroad operates its special holiday train through small towns in Southern Indiana and Illinois.

The stop in Morgantown is at the fire station at 269 Highland Street and the event is free.

Aboard the train will be Santa and Mrs. Claus, along with some special guest “critters” including Rudolph, Mr. and Mrs. Snowman and Christmas Mouse.

Children can give Santa their “wish list,” and for families having a hard time financially, donated clothing will be given out.

If you miss the train in Morgantown, the next stop is Helmsburg, Indiana at  at 8:30 p.m.
