INDIANAPOLIS -- A mother who has spent years trying to move on from the murder of her son returned to the scene this week for the first time since it happened.
Brenda Hudson says she's struggling to get a call back from detectives about where her son's murder investigation stands.
Reggie Hill was just 20 years old when he was shot and killed in 2013.
His murder remains unsolved.
Tuesday, at a "We Will Never Forget" rally, friends and family renewed their commitment to fighting for justice for Hill.
"Lord, we know you have him wrapped in your arms and well cared for," Hudson said. "He speaks to me on a daily basis and says, 'Mama, don't worry. I'm in good hands.'"
Hill's family asks anyone with information about the shooting to contact Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS.
