MUNCIE, Ind -- The Muncie Police Department is investigating the shooting of a 3-year-old girl.
She is in critical, but stable condition at Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.
The shooting happened around 5:26 p.m. in the 700 block of S. Elm St. on Friday.
According to Chief Steve Stewart, a teenage boy has been charged with criminal recklessness and is in the Delaware County Juvenile Detention Center.
