MUNCIE — A Muncie firefighter has been arrested on preliminary charges of domestic battery and strangulation.
Muncie Fire Department made the announcement on Friday.
According to the department, the firefighter was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the criminal investigation.
WRTV will not name the firefighter until he is formally charged, per policy.
