DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. – The man charged with killing his mother in June 2016 died in jail.
Deputies at the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office said Richard Franks was found dead in his jail cell and appeared to have suffered an aneurysm.
Franks was charged with murdering his 73-year-old mother Bonnie Franks in the 3600 block of Fleetwood Drive in Muncie.
Investigators said the incident began when Franks and his mother began arguing.
