MUNCIE — Muncie Animal Care Services is working to deal with overcrowding at their shelter by holding a 24 hour adoption event.
"No Barking Zon" will run from Saturday, August 3 at noon through Sunday, August 4 at noon.
During the 24-hour adoption event all cats will be $5 and all dogs will be $10. Or you can donate the equivalent in supplies. All adoptions include spay/neuter and age-appropriate vaccinations.
The shelter does require a copy of any pet policies if you rent your home or apartment prior to approving adoptions.
