NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- One person died in a car crash Wednesday in Noblesville.
The crash happened near the intersection of Field Drive and State Road 37 around 1:00 p.m.
Police say a Saturn was headed east on Field Drive when, for an unknown reason, it pulled into the path of a Pontiac that was traveling north on S.R. 37.
The driver of the Saturn was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Noblesville Police Department identified her Wednesday night as 87-year-old Betty Lou Turner, of Noblesville.
The driver of the Pontiac, Cheryl Joy, 69, of Cicerco, Ind., was taken to Riverview Health Noblesville for non-life threatening injuries.
