NEW CASTLE, Ind. – A two-month investigation led to the arrest of a New Castle man for possessing child pornography Thursday morning.

Brian Koby, 34, was arrested and charged with 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography, a Level 6 Felony at his home at 912 Vine St.

Indiana State Police detectives began the investigation in July after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip noted an image possibly portraying child pornography had been downloaded to an IP address associated with Koby.

The investigation is ongoing.

Koby was transported to the Henry County Jail.
