FISHERS, Ind. -- A new coffeehouse coming to Fishers will make you feel better about buying your daily cop of Joe.

The Well Coffeehouse is scheduled to open to the public sometime after Labor Day at 116th Street and Lantern Road.

The tagline for the shop is "Where coffee changes lives".

The franchise, which operates as a nonprofit, originally started 4 years ago as a graduate program by two men in Tennessee, but a retired couple from Carmel saw it as a second career opportunity.

The Well donates 70 percent of their profits toward digging wells in Third-World countries where locals do not have access to clean water.

So far, the coffee company has been able to dig 13 wells, with seven more on the way.

The store will display a large world map to show customers where they're making a difference.

It's the third location for the brand, but the first outside of Tennessee.
