INDIANAPOLIS —The Circle Centre Mall in downtown Indianapolis has announced the next sat for the former Carson's location that's set empty since the department store closed last year.

The mall issued a press release on Thursday, saying the second and third stories of the space at the corner of Washington and Meridian streets will be leased as "Class A" office space. The mall has chosen CBRE as the listing agent for the 90,000 square-foot space.

"The areas will also include signage opportunities, abundant attached parking and proximity to the best dining and entertainment in Indianapolis," the company said in a release.

“We are looking forward to the next step for Circle Centre Mall with the announcement of the new office spaces,” said Nick Strause, Circle Centre Mall Manager. “We’re excited to build on the success we’ve had with converting the south-end space into corporate headquarters with vibrant dining and entertainment on the street level. Indianapolis’ growth has shown a need for more office space; we are thrilled to be able to provide a solution.”

Carson's closed its doors for the final time at the downtown location on April 29, 2019, just before the mall underwent a massive renovation.
