INDIANAPOLIS -- You'll see a new ride on the Midway at the Indiana State Fair this year.

The Suburu Skyride will hover 35 feet above the ground and travel from east and west in a continuous loop between the Swine Barn and the Midway.

People can get on and off the ride at either end for a seven-minute journey above the fairgrounds.

The cost of a one-way ride is $5 per person.

Children must be 32 inches tall to ride with an adult or 48 inches tall to ride alone.

The ride operator, North American Midway Entertainment, paid for the construction of the Skyride while Suburu of Indiana Automotive, Inc. signed a two-year deal to be the title sponsor.

The Suburu Skyride will only operate during the State Fair each year. This year, the fair runs from August 4 to August 20.
