Scripps is partnering with the News Literacy Project, a nonpartisan national education nonprofit, to build awareness and educate our communities about news literacy. Through this initiative we aim to help you discern credible information from misinformation in today’s media. To learn more about this project, visit wrtv.com/newsliteracy.

In honor of National News Literacy Week, WRTV is taking you behind the scenes to show how our team of reporters craft stories that show on your television screen.

We realize that the trust of our viewers and community is incredibly important and we also want our viewers to know that they play a vital role in our storytelling each and every single day. We are here to get answers to their questions.

Watch the video above for a look inside what we do here at WRTV, even during the pandemic, to bring you news that matters to you.
