INDIANAPOLIS — A bus full of sixth graders from Decatur Township collided with a dump truck on Indianapolis' southwest side Tuesday afternoon.
Decatur Township Schools spokesperson Tony Burchett said the students were on their way back to school after a field trip when the accident happened near the intersection of Southport Road and Mann road just after 1 p.m.
Burchett said no one on the school bus was seriously injured in the crash but 10-15 students are being checked out as a precaution. The condition of the dump truck driver is not known at this time.
