INDIANAPOLIS -- A north side neighborhood took crime watch to a whole new level by finding their own thief.
After several break-ins, the Canterbury Neighborhood took to social media to identify a suspect.
One of the homeowners was able to capture the image of the suspect with a surveillance camera.
Police say the man caught in those images is Jordan Thompson. According to IMPD, he's charged with residential entry and criminal trespass. He also remains a suspect in several other burglaries.
"It was very scary, because there were shared of wood all over the floor and it was dark," said Allison, one of Thompson's alleged victims. "And I didn't know if someone was still in my house."
When Thompson's picture was posted on the neighborhood's Next Door page, it was quickly picked up by nearby residents. Within days, nearly 20 people had come up with Thompson's name and turned it over to police.
Thompson remained at-large Wednesday night with a warrant for his arrest.
Anyone with information about Thompson's whereabouts was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 262-TIPS.
