NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- An off-duty Fishers police officer and another driver were both injured in a crash on State Road 37 in Noblesville Monday evening.
Police in Noblesville say the officer was attempting to turn left onto Field Drive from State Road 37 when he was hit by a vehicle going straight through the intersection.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to Methodist Hospital, their condition is not known at this time.
The officer was taken to Riverview Hospital to be checked out. He is expected to be okay.
The intersection was shut down while accident reconstruction crews worked the scene Monday evening.
The accident remains under investigation by the Noblesville Police Department.
