MUNCIE—One person is dead, following a Wednesday house fire on Muncie's northwest side.
According to Muncie Fire Chief Eddie Bell, the fire was reported at about noon at a home in the 1400 block of North Tillotson Avenue, near Euclid Avenue.
Carl Rhinehart Jr., 70, died in the fire, Delaware County Coroner Rick Howell said.
Investigators are working to determine a cause.
