CLERMONT — One person is dead and a second person was seriously injured in a head-on collision in Clermont early Friday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the 8900 block of Crawfordsville Road, just east of Raceway Road just before 5 a.m.
Arriving officers found one person dead at the scene and a second person trapped inside a vehicle. That person was rushed to the hospital, their condition is unknown at this time.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No other details have been released at this time.
