CLAYTON, Ind. – A man was taken to the hospital after he fell asleep at the wheel and struck a utility pole, snapping it in half, according to police.
Officers found the man trapped inside of a company van near South County Road 150 East and East County Road 451 South.
The driver was cut out of the vehicle and transported to Hendricks Regional Hospital. Police said he is expected to recover.
