FRANKLIN — At least one person is dead after a crash between a moped and a vehicle southern Franklin early Friday morning.
Johnson County Sheriff Duane Burgess says the crash happened in the 5700 block of South US 31, just south of the HIlltop Motel.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released. It is unclear if anyone else was injured.
