INDIANAPOLIS -- One person was hospitalized and a second was killed in a motorcycle crash on the southeast side Thursday evening.

The crash happened around 8:00 p.m. near the intersection of Southeastern Avenue and Sherman Drive.

Police said it appeared the motorcycle ran a red light, causing it to be struck by a Ford Expedition and then crash into another vehicle.
