SHELBYVILLE, Ind. -- The Shelby County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting that left one man dead.
Around 11:00 a.m. Saturday officers responded to the 6000 block of East State Road 244 on a report of a possible shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a 41-year-old man from Rushville, Indiana face down in the driveway. Medics tried to provide treatment, but he died on the scene. The victim has been identified as Richard A. Martin.
Officers then talked with a 28-year-old man and 50-year-old man who were at the scene. Both men are from Waldron, Indiana.
There are no suspects in custody and the investigation is ongoing.
