INDIANAPOLIS — A driver has died after crashing into a tow truck at a busy intersection on Indianapolis' northeast side.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the intersection of Ritter Avenue and 30th Street just after 6 a.m. for a report of a serious crash. Responding officers say a car and a large tow truck collided at the intersection. The driver of the car was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died from their injuries. Their identity has not been released.
The tow truck driver was not seriously hurt.
IMPD is still investigating the cause of the crash.
