The terror attack that left 49 victims dead and even more injured at an Orlando nightclub has once again stoked the nation's gun control debate.

Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense America says more effective laws are needed to keep guns out of the hands of people like Omar Mateen.
"We can pass universal background checks for all gun sales," said Stephanie Grabow, a chapter leader for the organization. "We can prevent domestic abusers from getting their hands on handguns. We can fully populate the NICS system, which is how we report the seriously mentally ill and violent felons into the background check systems."
But Second Amendment attorney and firearms expert Guy Relford says we should instead focus on enforcing the laws already on the books.
"It's not the kind of firearm," Relford said. "It's whether people have the opportunity to defend themselves. It's whether people who should not have guns are properly being denied the opportunity to purchase guns. Who should not have guns? Criminals, dangerously crazy people and unsupervised children. We need to get guns out of the hands of people who should not legitimately have guns. We should do a better job of enforcing existing laws."
Moms Demand Action says their membership currently stands at 4 million nationwide and continues to grow.
