INDIANAPOLIS — The Pacers Bikeshare will start a pay as you ride option starting Wednesday.
Bicycles will cost $1 to rent and 15 cents per minute to ride.
The new pricing structure replaces the 24-hour and monthly pass, which provided unlimited 30-minute trips in a 24-hour period.
Leaders said the change is in response to feedback that the pricing system was confusing. Last week, it was announced the bikeshare program will add 275 additional bikes and 23 stations this summer.
