PD: Motorcyclist killed on city's southeast side

INDIANAPOLIS -- A man died after an accident involving a motorcycle and a tow truck on the city's southeast side Friday evening.

Police were called to the scene at Hunter Road and East Raymond Street just before 6:30 p.m. 

The accident involved a motorcycle and a tow truck. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said the motorcycle was going south on Hunter Road when it struck the passenger side of the flatbed wrecker, which was headed west on Raymond Street. The driver of the wrecker was not injured.

The name of the victim has not been released.
