INDIANAPOLIS — For the second time in as many nights, a pedestrian has been killed in the same area on the Indianapolis far east side.
Wednesday evening, a person died after being struck at East Washington Street and Mittheoffer Road. A public information officer for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says the driver of the vehicle that hit the person stayed on the scene.
More specifics on the accident are still being gathered by investigators.
Tuesday evening, a pedestrian was struck and killed near a fast food restaurant, just off Washington Street near German Church Road.
