EDINBURGH, Ind. – Vice President-elect Mike Pence spoke to an audience of veterans and their families at a Veterans Day ceremony at Camp Atterbury Friday afternoon.

During his speech, Pence stressed the high amount of respect he has for veterans.

“I will say, it’s humbling for me to be with you today. It’s a joy to be home after a fairly busy time in our family’s life,” said Pence. “…We are proud of Camp Atterbury, General Carr, and we are grateful for your continued leadership in expanding the opportunities here for Indiana’s role in national defense.”
