PENDLETON, Ind. -- An inmate at the Pendleton Correctional Facility died Saturday.
Prison officials say Dionte Ramsey, 24, was found unresponsive in his cell at around 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
Officials say they initiated CPR and called medical staff.
Ramsey was taken to the facility's urgent care center and was pronounced dead at 1:08 p.m.
The incident is being investigated by the Indiana State Police.
Ramsey was serving 45 years for two counts of kidnapping and one count of burglary.
