INDIANAPOLIS – A woman was found tied up in a Geist home after a robbery Wednesday morning.
Officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department say the robber kicked in the back door in the 7600 block of Prairie View Drive shortly before 10 a.m. then tied the woman up.
She called 911 from a closet on the second floor.
The victim told police that the suspect stole wedding rings and that he had a gun but she did not see it.
Officers say the woman did not appear to be seriously injured.
Police are searching for a 6 foot tall black male with a medium to large build who was last seen wearing a black shirt and black or gray shorts. He was driving a late model gold vehicle.
