INDIANAPOLIS -- A person was hit by car at 71st Street and Georgetown Road on the city's northwest side early Friday morning.
As of 6:30 a.m. 71st Street westbound was closed west of Georgetown as police investigate.
Police say the pedestrian is in serious condition.
The car that was involved remained at the scene.
