INDIANAPOLIS — A person is in critical condition following a shooting on the northeast side of Indianapolis Thursday night.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police were dispatched around 8:43 p.m. to 3745 Adams St. on a person shot. According to IMPD, a male was found in the passenger side of a vehicle with a critical gunshot wound to the head. Police said another person in the vehicle was not injured.
The victim has been transported to Methodist Hospital.
Police began canvassing the area of 36th Street and Adams Street to talk to potential witnesses. It is unclear at this point if investigators are looking for a suspect.
