Man injured in east-side shooting

INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was hospitalized Thursday night after a shooting on the city's east side.

Police say the shooting happened just before midnight near the intersection of Lexington Avenue and Randolph Street.

Witnesses told police they say several suspects driving off in a dark sedan.

The victim was hit multiple times in the torso, but is expected to survive.
