INDIANAPOLIS -- A man was shot and killed Friday morning on Indianapolis' east side.
Police responded to the 900 block of Tecumseh Street shortly after 5 a.m. for a report of shots fired in the area.
They found a male victim in the street who was shot several times. He died at the scene.
No word yet on the victim's identity.
Detectives do not have any suspect information to release right now. The investigation is ongoing.
This is the sixth homicide in Indianapolis this week and the 107th in 2016.
