INDIANAPOLIS -- A person was shot as many as five times Friday evening on the east side.
The shooting occurred around 8:45 p.m. near PLS Check Cashing on the 3800 block of East Washington Street.
Emergency responders said the victim was shot in the stomach, leg and buttock.
The victim was reportedly in serious condition.
