INDIANAPOLIS -- A person was shot in the hip Tuesday on the near-east side.
The shooting happened around 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of 10th and Rural streets.
Police said the victim was shot in the hip and was awake and breathing. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
No other details were immediately available.
